Collection: Emerald
Emerald is a green variety of beryl, colored by traces of chromium and vanadium. It is one of the most valuable gemstones, prized for its rich green hue and rarity. Emeralds are typically found in hydrothermal veins and pegmatites within metamorphic rocks.
The finest emeralds come from Colombia, particularly from the Muzo, Chivor, and Coscuez mines. Other major sources include Brazil, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, and Russia. Colombian emeralds are especially known for their deep green color and high quality.
